Brand new Kenmore washer that won't spin?
I just got my new Kenmore washer today and I've used it twice and it worked fine those two times but on my third load it wouldn't spin. Like the water came out regularly but the washer wouldn't spin. I thought it was over heated or something from being used too much so i waited a couple hours or so and tried again but it still wouldn't spin. I checked the manual and it said the load could be too light but i had the same amount of clothes in there as my last load. help?Brand new Kenmore washer that won't spin?

They come with warraties. If you are willing to wait a couple days for a repair call the mfr and ask them to set you up with warranty service. Or if you dont want to wait you could ask that the dealer exchange it, but be ready for the to say no. Some dealers will not exchange it because that is what the warranty is for.

It sounds like your lid switch is not engaging. For a simple solution, try pushing down on the lid. It might make the switch engage for the time being. Then call Sears and have a service technician come to repair it. It should be a real simple repair that can be handled the same day. You're still in warranty so there should be no charge.
The time you spent asking the question here would have been better spent calling the location where you bought it from. The washer has a warranty and you need to call the place you bought it from and let them know that the machine is not working properly.
Call Sears (KMART) immediately. If they delivered and installed it could be improper installation or you got a defective one. They are normally very good about correcting any issues.
Take it back and ask for a new one. They normally have a few months warranty on them.

I have blue lights that shine out from my washer jets on my car,i was wondering if its legal to do this?
In the UK, the use of any blue light or reflector on any vehicle other than an emergency vehicle is illegal. Only the other week, I saw a car stopped by police for having exactly the type of lights that you describe. impersonating a police car is a serious offence. but i see lots of people doin it so they may not be enforcing it that severely as long as they don't start flashing u should be OK ish. the cop could be having a bad day

no, as long as they don't shine into oncoming vehicles, truck drivers shine a purple light down the windshield from the top to take some of the glare from oncoming headlights, doesn't really help though.

Windshield washer repair - 1991 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4?
Any advice on repairing the windshield washer? I replaced the washer pump, checked the hoses and nozzles for obstructions, checked the fuse, and can't find any reason it shouldn't be working. Check to see if the pump is running when commanded on. If it is, you must have blockage somewhere in the lines or squirters or a leaking line. If the pump does not run, check for power at the pump ( simple test light will work.) If there is power to the pump (and ground) the pump is faulty. If no power and the fuse is good, i would test the switch.

Is there a machine that can clean clothes w/o sticking it in the washer?
For clothes that you would dry clean anyway and for any clothes you don't want to stick in the washer, you could use Dryel. It's a kit that comes with a bag you put your clothes in as well as a solution for stains and a damp cloth that provides the scent and the softness.
You may have seen these in the stores.
You put your clothes in the bag along with the cloth (follow the instructions for getting the stains out if necessary) seal the bag and throw it in the drier. Set your drier and you're done!
