You are sure there is nothing in the lease? Do you pay the water bill? How bad is the leak? You could fix the leak yourself and show him the bill and the completed work, he might give you some slack. He might try and give you a hard time because of the water bill. But if there is nothing in the lease even in the small print then just put it away when he is around and try not to wash when he is. Every county has stipulations on renters and code of conduct. One in the place that I live in states that if there is a leak in the sink due to wear and tear, then the owner/landlord has 1 month to do so. That means if the landlord/owner does not fix the leak then your intitled to get some cash reimbursement or discount off your rent. Find the renters board to see the appropriate steps to get this resolved. They might even fine the owner/landlord for not up-keeping the building. Also they will keep a record on file just in case it goes to court. As for the dishwasher, if your the only one living there then why bother, save on your utilities and keep on washing in the leaking sink. I am sure if you bring this up to the renters board, the board will give him an ultimatum. '; Fix it or we will fine you';.
Read your lease carefully, also research the laws in your state about what he can change. A landlord is able to add amendments to the rules in some states, but he has to give it to you in writing. Is there a clause in your lease that states that he can change or add the rules to your lease?

If there is nothing in the lease then he can't make you get rid of it, and he is responsible for getting the leak fixed. If the lease doesn't prohibit it, he can't make you get rid of it, especially since you are paying the utilitities. It isn't costing him anything. You can insist he fix the leaky sink, which is his responsibility, though it can be difficult to hold him to it. It is not a good idea to withhold rent to force a landlord to do something, because doing so is prohibited in some states.


Is there some tenants' rights agency where you are? If so, it would be good to contact them. A lawyer would cost too much and this isn't a big enough problem to justify that expense.

The windshield washer pump is located right inside your windshield washer bottle. They started making this a part of the bottle to help them cram more things in. My whirlpool machine washer wont spin or agitate?

Washing machines, like any other mechanical device, occasionally needs servicing. A common problem with an older washing machine is that the spinner, or agitator, stops rotating during wash cycles. Fortunately, most washing machine problems are easy to troubleshoot. Any do-it-yourselfer can fix it; here's how.





Step 1Unplug the washing machine, and turn off the water supply to the machine. If necessary, remove the water hoses from the back of the washing machine because they may be in the way of the access panel.





Step 2Check that the agitator is seated correctly by opening the lid of the washing machine. If it's loose, pop off the top of the agitator--if there is one--and tighten the bolt that holds the agitator in place. Or, in some models, simply pull straight up and then reseat the agitator.





Step 3Remove the access panel located in the back of the washing machine by unscrewing the screws holding it in place. This allows access to the drive motor.





Step 4Press on the drive belt that works the agitator. If the belt moves more than 3/4 inch, tighten the belt to fix the spinner problem. If the belt is worn or cracked, replace the belt.





Step 5Replace the drive motor, if tightening or replacing the drive belt doesn't fix the agitator. Purchase a new drive motor at a wholesale retailer. Disconnect wiring, remove screws holding motor in place and insert new motor. Screw into place, and connect wiring.

If you're mechanically inclined you can take it apart and figure out what's broke in there. Probably a belt or something.





They're not real complicated machines, though they are kind of heavy. And generally full of dust and the occasional spider.





You can check your local directory for places that sell replacement parts if you need them. I can get parts for stuff like that from a place about two miles from here. You'll need to find out your exact make and model to get a matching part.

Could be the safety switch that completes the circuit when the lid is closed. Most of the time this is where the problem is.

If you live someplace where you cant leave you wetsuit outside (it happens) you can fill the basin in a washing machine with clean cold water and soak your suit. I wouldn't actually use any cycle other than soak. I wouldn't want to agitate the suit. DON'T use detergent. DON';t put it in the dryer. This will run the suit. Detergent is abrasive and the heat will ruin any glued seams you have on it. let it soak, then hang it up out of the sun to dry. don't! it ruins your wetsuit!


hang it up on a clotheshanger to dry either inside or outside (if it's sunny) and it will be dry or at the most slightly damp by the next day. if it's dirty then rinsing it out with water and giving it a good scrub would be the best- putting it in the washer and dryer would ruin the seams
i dont recomend it at all, just give it a rinse down then hang it somewhere with a good air circulation.


p.s. they was a survey that said that when you pee in your wetsuit in prolonges its life, something to do with the minerals.
NO WAY!!!!!!! You would totally ruin your wetsuit and waste a bunch of money on it. I am guessing that yours is brand new too.





You should rinse it off with fresh water with a hose. Then let it dry on a hangar.
