I changed a broken belt on my wife's washer once.After I got it fixed it wouldn't even fill with water.we spent about 4hrs. trying to figure out what was wrong,it was plugged in but wouldn't come on.So we gave up and called a serviceman.rightaway he diagnosed the problem.As he was cracking up laughing,he proceeded to tell us we needed to close the lid to get it to work.
