Would the washer or dryer be damaged if...?

I accidently left a handwarmer in my jacket pocket and it went through the washer and dryer. there werent any holes in it but im not sure if it would damage the washer or dryer?Would the washer or dryer be damaged if...?

If the hand warmer bag is still closed don't worry obout it. If it is open then start worrin'.
The dryer might be damaged, but I wouldn't think so. Make sure the handwarmer is still sealed shut, and if it is, you should be fine. Don't forget to check your pockets before you wash stuff!
As long as it didn't leak in there, you're alright. The washer is definitely okay. The dryer is where the damage would have been done, but no leaks, no worries.
